New Hopes; New Beginnings

A service to abused and battered women and victims of teen dating violence in WNC. Our focus is to provide support and counseling to women and teen girls in abusive situations. Our ultimate goal is to open a transitioal home where women and children can stay up to two years. We will offer counseling, financial management, parenting classes, group sessions and one on one sessions.

Please help us in raising awareness of domestic violence and opening our transitional house. Go to our donate page and any contribution will be greatly appreciated.

Empowering Women, Step by Step

Self-esteem is defined as self-respect and confidence. It is the opposite of self-denial. When our self-evaluations fluctuate from "good" to "bad" and "bad" to "good" based on our experiences, we feel tossed among the waves. By developing inner strength, we can take control of the direction of our lives.

How do we do that? There are three main points to keep in mind as you take that first step on the path toward greater self-respect. We need to become very clear about our self-concept and learn to utilize our self-evaluations and social responses for growth and understanding. Our Self-Management program can facilitate your journey and provide practical applications for developing inner strength and ultimately...confidence. As we have empowering experiences, we gradually increase our ability to express our true and wonderful selves. Be empowered!
